The Golf Club has been in existence since 1899 and is a great place to play golf. The common is on the north side of the town with access via Common Lane.
The course consists of 9 holes varying from par 3’s through to a par 5, all laid out on what many call an inland links setting.
Although there are no bunkers or water on the course there is a lot of gorse and small, fast greens to make good course management a requirement for a good round.
The course is available for the public to play for a small green fee which covers them under the clubs public liability insurance.
During the week the green fees for adults are £10.00 for 18 holes/all day. Bank Holidays are £10.00 and Juniors are half price.
